Best Pacific Northwest Coast Bird Guide
As an avid birdwatcher from way back, I recognize the value of regional bird identification guides for use in the field. Since I do not live anywhere near the magnificent Pacific Northwest Coast, when I planned for trip there I studied a regional guidebook. The Pacific Northwest Coast Bird Guide was a delight to use while preparing for our trip. However, I must also confess I am a minimalist when it comes to what I pack into the field for a birding expedition. This book got its most use from me back at camp, rather than in the field. That actually makes the field guide last a lot longer too. This is most certainly true in the very wet climate of the Pacific Northwest.
